Other professionals I teach simply love French as a language – or they love our culture and they wish to understand it more fully. This can require knowledge of everything from table manners to travel customs. It is also necessary for those who "localize" products and services.

I teach a very wide range of professional students. There are retirees who wish to travel or move abroad, company teams with Francophone clients and those who work with NGOs, foreign broadcasting organizations, in diplomacy or in academics.

For groups, classes are often held on-site at a company; individuals frequently choose the meeting place where they are most comfortable. This may be in their home, in a place where they themselves teach or it may just be a quiet café.
