I am a Frenchwoman who was born and raised in Versailles. I earned my first college degree in Paris. Twenty years ago, I moved to the United States, where I have raised three sons and earned my doctorate in anthropology. Currently I live in Kirkland, Washington, but I frequently travel home to Europe.

My life has been enhanced by the teaching of French at every level. My ongoing travels, my experience as an educator - even my scientific research - have all helped me understand the importance of language.

I have taught French for institutions ranging from the Alliance Française de Seattle and the University of Washington (where I tutored both faculty and students as well as participants in the Center for Learning and Undergraduate Enrichment) to Seattle International Language School, Bellevue Community College, Edmonds Community College and Everett Community College.

I offer different levels of customized private classes and tutoring. Many are for working professionals, both individually and within company settings.

I am experienced at teaching French to children, older students, foreign and university students; business people, retirees and those wishing to immigrate to Canada. I have prepared students for the DELF and DALF exams as well as the TEF, the only French language test recognized by Canada's Citoyenneté et Immigration Canada (CIC).

I emphasize both French grammar and our etiquette (CLICK HERE to see some examples).
